Welcome to CPATA.org

Beth Parrish

Beth Parrish graduated from Lock Haven University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a Concentration in Athletic Training.  Upon graduation, she was employed through Gettysburg Hospital, contracted to Gettysburg College, working primarily with Men’s Soccer, Wrestling, Basketball, and Baseball.  In the fall of 2007, she obtained her current position with CPRS Physical Therapy, contracted to the Central Dauphin School District.  Given the central location and turf fields, she has had plenty of experience hosting various district and state playoff games.

Outside of her “normal” job, Beth has been a volunteer member of the sports medicine staff for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure 60-mile walk in Philadelphia for the past several years.  She was also able to help out the Justin Boots Sports Medicine Team with the First Frontier Circuit Finals Rodeo at the PA Farm Show this year.

Beth lives in York, assisting her parents in taking care of the family farm.  She has been an active member of the CPATA since its inception and feels it is important for athletic trainers to band together so we can help each other as a group, not as individuals all fighting the same battles.  With more and more schools tightening the belts, we can work together to find ways to keep ourselves somewhat sane while providing uncompromised healthcare for our athletes.
