Matt Staub

Vice President

Matt Staub received his undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University in 1998 in Movement Studies & Exercise Science with a concentration in Athletic Training.  He then received his graduate degree from Indiana State University in 1999 in Athletic Training.  Upon completion of his graduate degree, Matt was hired by Hanover Hospital to work in the clinical setting and contracted out to local high schools up until 2008.  While at Hanover Hospital, Matt worked at Delone Catholic High School for one year, at Hanover High School for 7 years, and Spring Grove Area School District for 2 years.  In 2008 to the present, Matt was hired as the full time Athletic Trainer/Strength Coordinator for Spring Grove Area School District.

Matt is interested in getting involved in the world of Athletic Training outside of his own small community.  Since Matt has worked in a variety of settings, he can relate to the daily struggles that many athletic trainers face.  The best way to get results is to start at the local level.  Matt feels that this is what the organization CPATA is all about.  Let’s make a difference here in Central Pennsylvania and help out the local athletic trainers with their concerns and issues.

Matt currently reside in Hanover, PA with his wife, Sara, their 1 year old daughter, Meredith, and their 4 year old Labrador Retriever, Boston.
